Commissioned Seascapes: Northern Coast of Ireland
These two recent commissioned paintings capture the raw energy of the Northern Ireland coastline around Dunseverick Castle, within the UNESCO Causeway Coast. Inspired by the dramatic seas at The Pools and The Skerries near the harbour, the works explore movement, light and the powerful relationship between sea and rock. This stretch of coast is also where I grew up, bringing a deeply personal connection to the work. Finished in an antique silver floating frame chosen by the client, the tones beautifully echo the warm greys of the rocks and the cool blues of sea and sky.🎨
